This Cookie Policy is part of the Privacy Policy of Center Stage Software, a Minnesota general partnership. It explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on centerstage.com (the “Site”), why we use them, and how you can control them.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. It usually holds an identifier that lets the site recognize your browser on later visits, plus whatever data the cookie needs to do its job, and an expiration date. Cookies set by the Site are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by another company’s service that we embed on the Site (analytics, video, social buttons) are “third-party” cookies, and that company can read them across other sites that use the same service. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage work the same way, and this policy covers them too.
| Category | Purpose | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Make the Site work: security and spam protection on forms | Center Stage’s website platform |
| Performance / analytics | Understand which pages are visited, for how long, and from where, so we can improve the Site. We use this browsing data in aggregate only; we do not use it to identify or contact you, or for advertising. | Google Analytics |
We do not use targeting or advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to place advertising cookies on the Site.
If we embed content from another provider, such as a video or a social media button, that provider may set its own cookies when the content loads. We do not control those cookies; they are governed by the provider’s own policy.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. Our essential cookies expire within one year. Google Analytics cookies expire within 2 years.
We review the privacy practices of every third-party service before adding it to the Site and only use providers whose practices are consistent with our Privacy Policy. The only third-party service currently setting cookies on the Site is Google Analytics; its privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy and its description of how it uses data from sites is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The Site may also load fonts, icons, or other files from third-party content delivery networks. Those requests send your IP address to the provider but set no cookies.
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change; the effective date at the top shows the last revision. Questions about cookies go to the contact listed in our Privacy Policy.
