One of our persistent questions is how to best display seats on a chart. Albert of eStockton has come up with one of the best solutions to date.
He did a couple things:
Make the grid for the seats 2 pixels wider on each side
Find images that made sense to him and do a few modifications.
He made them a transparent gif's. That way, the underlying colors would show through the images.
He used these images to display the available seats.
When a seat is selected, the displayed image changes to a solid bright yellow.
