Webtix5 now has an iCalendar data-feed. This feature was added because of numerous client requests.
It is now possible for customers and viewers to import show data, performance data, purchased ticket data onto their personal desktop calendar as a reminder of upcoming events. Rave reviews have been received from users about the new feature. Implemented uses of the iCalendar feature are numerous. Some of the softwares supporting iCalendar are Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Sunbird, Apple iCal, Zimbra, Evolution, plus many others. It has been reported as working on Mac, Linux, BSD, and Windows.
An example client, St. Norbert College, has been able to integrate the Webtix5 iCalendar data-feed into their multi-campus calendar notification system. Students and faculty now have one central location to view their classes, lectures, sporting events, theatricals, musicals, recitals, etc.
